Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group since February 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading, UK, a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hull, UK, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business and Management from the University of South Australia, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, the Chartered Institute of Housing, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators, the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. He is also a Registered Professional Housing Manager, a Registered Professional Surveyor (General Practice) (Property and Facility Management) and a Licensed Estate Agent.

Dr Cheng has over 35 years substantial experiences in real estate, property asset management and facility services and currently is the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management.  Dr Cheng was the Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Property and Facility Management Division (2013-2015), President of the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (2009-2011).  He has been the Chairman of the Housing Managers Registration Board (2006-2008); President of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing (2000-2002).
