Mr HUI joined the Hong Kong Government in 1978 as a Student Building Surveyor. He has worked in a wide range of posts in the then Buildings Ordinance Office, the Building Development Department, the Buildings and Lands Department and currently the Buildings Department. In 2001, he was seconded to the Security Bureau of the HKSAR Government and assumed the position of the Principal Assistant Secretary/Special Duties for a year, with the primary responsibility of overseeing aviation security. He took up the post of Director of Buildings in March 2014. Mr HUI attended the Study Programme for Mid-Career Officers of the Hong Kong Government at the University of California Berkeley, USA in 1996; the China Studies Course at the Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2002; the Advanced National Studies Programme at the National School of Administration, Beijing in 2006. In 2009, he attended the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France. Mr HUI holds a Master Degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Design and Management from the University of Hong Kong. He has been a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors since 1984. |

A Chartered Construction Manager, Engineer, Project Manager, and Surveyor by profession, Ir Prof Chan has worked in a number of tertiary institutions both in Hong Kong and overseas. Ir Prof Chan joined the Department of Building and Real Estate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1996 and was Associate Head (Teaching) from 2005 to 2011; Associate Dean and Interim Dean of the Faculty of Construction and Environment 企om 2011 to 2013, and from 2013 to 2014 respectively. He is currently Head of Department of Building and Real Estate. Ir Prof Chan's research and teaching interests include project management and project success, construction procurement and relational contracting, construction management and economics, construction health and safety, and construction industry development. He has produced over 700 research outputs in refereed joumal papers, intemational refereed conference papers, consultancy reports, and other articles. He has won a number of prestigious research paper and innovation awards since 1995. Ir Prof Chan holds an MSc in Construction Management and Economics from the University of Aston in Birmingham, and a PhD in Project Management from the University of South Australia. Ir Prof Chan maintains good links with overseas institutions. He has been an Adjunct Professor in a number of universities. Dr TM Kwong is the Head of the College of Humanities and Law of the School of Professional and Continuing Education, the University of Hong Kong. He is in charge of the operations of the seven subject groups within the College including Architectural Studies, Art, Design and Culture, Social Sciences, Law, Housing, Transport and Built Environment, and two Languages areas.
Dr TM Kwong is a renowned academic in the field of property and facility management. He has been the subject group leader of related fields since 1995 and is currently responsible for the training of more than 1,500 practitioners for different levels of property and facility management programmes. Dr Kwong is active in the real estate and property management industries. He was contracted by the Education Manpower Bureau of the Hong Kong Government as the Professional Writer of the Industrial Technical Specialisation on Property Management. Since the establishment of the Housing Managers Registration Board, he is the external examiner for the Board. Dr Kwong is also member of a number of committees and takes on an advisory role in property and facility management training and standards setting for the industries. Recognising his contribution to the industry, Dr Kwong is elected the Honorary Fellow of a number of professional bodies including the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, the Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administration and the Institute of Shopping Center Management. |

Clement Lau is the Head of Development and Valuations, Commercial Property of Hongkong Land. He identifies, evaluates and implements commercial property developments and investments for the Company in Hong Kong and around the region. In addition, he undertakes and oversees the valuations of the Company’s commercial portfolio of US$29 billion in 2015 as well as the performance of the hotel properties owned by the Company. He previously worked for Lands Department and Airport Authority Hong Kong. Clement holds the degree of Bachelor of Building with Honours Class 1 from The University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Master of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and sits on the RICS Asia World Regional Board and Hong Kong Board. Clement is a Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and The Hong Kong Business Valuation Forum. He is also a Director of the UNSW Hong Kong Foundation Board. |

Sr Wong Bay is a Building Surveyor and Property and Facilities Management Surveyor by profession. He was the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) in 2010-2011.
Serving in the Hong Kong Government for over 37 years, he spent most of his time in the Architectural Services Department and Housing Department. He escalated from Maintenance Surveyor to Assistant Director of Housing before his retirement in 2010, contributing in public housing development, estate maintenance and improvement, estate management, housing subsidies policies and Home Ownership Schemes marketing and sales. Sr Wong was presented “Distinguished Building Surveyors 1998 Award” by HKIS. Currently, he has taken up a role in education at the Department of Real Estate and Construction of the University of Hong Kong, aiming to nurture the young generation. He is serving at HKIS as an Assessor of the Building Surveying Division APC. On public service, he is a Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, Member of the Advisory Committee on Water Resources and Quality of Water Supplies, Member of Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Society and Member of the Antiquities Advisory Board of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Mr WU, currently the Director (Property Management and Operations) of Link Management Limited, oversees the property, facility and car park management and operations of the asset portfolio of Link. He joined the Manager in September 2011. Mr WU has over 25 years of experience in property management in both Hong Kong and the PRC, running a group of management companies and training academies. Prior to joining Link, he was an associate director of the Sino Group and managed more than 180 properties with a workforce over 2,000 staff. Mr WU holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from The University of Hong Kong. Mr Xu Jianhua, the president of Guangdong Province Certified Property Manager Association, has a Master of Business Administration degree, and he also has the certificate of Senior Economist, National Registered Property Manager, and Senior International Finance Manager.
He is a member of CPPC of Guangdong Province and RICS , his current occupations are related to many property management association, he is also being an professor in colleges. He has engaged in property management and research for more than 20 years. In these years, he is owning deep theoretical attainments and practical experience that he has published more than 40 papers of property management. He has studied in one of the famous universites on Japan, Waseda University Business School, to have further education of Modern Enterprise Management. He has complied the first training materials of “Peoperty Management Professional Ethics and Service Etiquette” in our country. This will play a positive roll in improving the property management employees professionalism and service skills and promoting the health and development of the property management industry. |

Before joining City University of Hong Kong in August 2007, YAU Yung had worked as a Building Surveying Graduate in the Buildings Department and a Post-doctoral Fellow in The University of Hong Kong. In 2012, he also went on academic exchange at The University of Adelaide and The University of Birmingham as a visiting fellow. His research areas include housing management, built heritage conservation, building illegality, housing economics, resident participation and urban regeneration.
Since January 2013, YAU Yung has been the programme director of the MA (Housing Studies) programme. Besides, he has been the member of editorial boards of various international academic journals, including the Journal of Urban Planning and Development and Urbani izziv. Over the years, YAU Yung won different awards such as Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards 2006 and Li Ka Shing Prize 2007 for his scholarly works. In 2015, he was selected by the editor of the Journal of Urban Planning and Development as an American Society of Civil Engineers 2014 Outstanding Reviewer in recognition of his contribution to the journal. |
