Award Type  Description 
Grand Award*  This is the highest recognition to buildings or facilities at the category level. 
Excellence Award*  There will be recognition of excellence for each nomination category.  
Certificate of Merit*  There will be recognition of merit(s) for each nomination that has passed the first screening, Site Visits and that has been presented at the Finalist Presentation to Judging Panel cum Conference. 

*QPFMA 2022 Organising Committee reserves the right not to bestow an award if the Judging Panel deems that no nomination is worth receiving that particular award. The decision of the Judging Panel shall be final. 。

Category NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
1 ) Residential
  • Nominated property must be a building or structure that is used for dwelling purposes
  • Open to properties in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region only
  1. Large-Scale Residential Property Management
  • Nominated property must consist of 1,501 units or above
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for residential use
  1. Medium-Scale Residential Property Management
  • Nominated property must consist of 201–1,500 units
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for residential use
  1. Small-Scale Residential Property Management
  • Nominated property must consist of 200 units or below
  • Major Function of the nominated property must be for residential use
  1. Subsidised Housing
    Property Management
  • Nominated property must fall under one of the following categories:
    • Public Rental Housing (PRH)
    • Home Ownership Scheme (HOS), including:
      • Tenants Purchase Scheme (TPS)
      • Secondary Market Scheme (SMS)
      • Private Sector Participation Scheme (PSPS)
      • Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Pilot Scheme (GSH)
    • Sandwich Class Housing Scheme (SCHS)
    • The Buy or Rent Option (BRO)
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for residential use

 

Category NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
2. Non-Residential
  • Nominated property must be a building or structure that is not deemed to be attributable to residential use
  • Open to properties in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region only
  1. Shopping Centre Management
  • Nominated property must be indoors, air-conditioned and either on the lower floors of a residential or commercial development or freestanding
  • Nominated property must provide retail activities including:
    • The sales of convenience and comparison goods
    • The provision of retail services and dining services
  1. Office Building Management
    (Small- & Medium-Scale Office Building)
  • The total area of the nominated property must be below 300,000 sq. ft
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for office activities
  1. Office Building Management
    (Large-Scale Office Building)
  • The total area of the nominated property must be 300,000 sq. ft. or above
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for office activities
  1. Industrial & Car Park Building Management
  • Nominated property must be for industrial land use types which mainly accommodate ordinary multi-storey factory buildings, purpose-built godowns and dual-purpose industrial buildings
  1. Institutional Facility Management
  • Nominated property must be for Government, Institution or Community use.

 

Category NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
3) Refurbishment / Renovation
  • Open to all types of properties in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
  • Building year ranged above 20 years
  • Demonstrate preventive maintenance planning, work done on preventive maintenance implementation, good financial reservation and promotion for refurbishment
  1. Large-Scale Residential Property

Management

  • Nominated property must consist of 1,501 units or above
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for residential use
  1. Medium-Scale Residential Property Management
  • Nominated property must consist of 1,500 units or below
  • Major function of the nominated property must be for residential use
  1. Commercial Property Management
  • The Major Function of the nominated building must be for non-residential use or non-GIC use
