Mr. Michael HONG is currently the Deputy Director of Housing Department in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Michael is a seasoned civil engineer with over 30 years of dedicated service in the Housing Department. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in managing various housing projects, encompassing planning, design, construction, and maintenance. His extensive experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in public housing development.

As Deputy Director of the Estate Management Division in the Housing Department, Michael oversees the management of all public housing estates, ensuring high standards of property management sevices, as well as facilities management and maintenance. Committed to fostering sustainable and harmonious communities, Michael dedicates himself to direct various improvement initiatives and actively engages stakeholders in community-building. Michael’s commitment to public service has brought comfortable living environments for tenants living in public housing estates.
